Primary Care Physician- George Bush Clinic (Value-Based Care)
About The Position
NeueHealth is a value-driven healthcare company focused on providing high-quality, coordinated care. We aim to make healthcare accessible and affordable across various health insurance plans. Our physicians treat common ailments and manage chronic conditions, coordinating overall patient care by communicating with specialists. We operate over 20 clinic locations in Texas, offering a 100% outpatient primary care setting for patients 18+. Our model emphasizes value-based care, with dedicated support teams, a Monday-Friday schedule (with some extended hours), limited and compensated call, and telehealth availability. Physicians receive a guaranteed base salary with an annual bonus program, monthly compensation for supervising nurse practitioners, CME hours, 401K with matching, Paid Time Off, and are eligible for a Sign-On Bonus.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school is required.
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Practicing physician in a clinic or urgent care setting, with supervision experience.
- A state license to practice medicine in Texas.

Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality healthcare to patients, including listening to and properly diagnosing patients’ medical concerns and ailments
- Conducting initial assessments of patients to learn about their medical history, their health goals, and any potential health risks
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for acute and chronic conditions
- Ordering lab tests and imaging studies, prescribing medications, and providing other treatment modalities such as physical therapy or massage therapy
- Diagnosing illnesses through physical examinations, medical tests, and analysis of patient histories
- Prescribe medications, treatments, diets, or other care plans to maintain health or alleviate symptoms of disease or injury
- May supervise nurse practitioner(s) - additional monthly pay per direct report
- Refer patients to specialists when needed for further diagnosis or treatment
- Punctually arrives to the clinic to ensure that patients are seen at scheduled appointment times.
