About The Position

Legacy Health is recruiting outpatient physicians for its primary care clinics located in Portland, Oregon. These clinics feature a team of physicians and advanced practitioners, all of whom have been part of Legacy for several years. Providers are supported by designated MAs and care teams that can include panel coordinators, social workers, RN case managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacy techs, and pharmacists. The Legacy Medical Group clinics in this region are Internal Medicine, but Family Medicine physicians are welcome to apply if interested in seeing patients aged 18+. The position offers a two-year salary guarantee for a 1.00 FTE, with additional opportunities for productivity and quality incentives. Flexible FTE ranging from 0.60-1.00 is available, allowing for flexible schedules of 3-4 days per week. The role is a 100% outpatient clinical practice, supported by Epic/EHR through the Super Thrive Program, dedicated clinic-based nurse care management, social worker and behavioral health support, and dedicated pharmacy support for medication management, INR support, and diabetic education. Dedicated panel coordinators assist with patient outreach and care gap closure to ensure high-quality care. The position involves working in collaboration with a team of providers, and opportunities in rural health clinics may qualify for a special location stipend. Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Graduate of a four-year medical school or equivalent
  • Completed internal or family medicine residency
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in internal or family medicine
  • Current Oregon state medical license
  • DEA certificate
  • Unrestricted Oregon medical license
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • No J1 or H-1B visa opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the patient throughout treatment.
  • Reviewing clinical history, providing the physical examination, diagnosing and treating both chronic and episodic disorders.
  • Work in collaboration with the team.
  • Maintain own panel of patients and share call coverage for the clinic.
