About The Position

Legacy Health is recruiting outpatient physicians for our primary care clinics located in South Portland. Providers in these clinics include physicians and advanced practitioners, all of whom have been a part of Legacy for several years. Our primary care providers are supported by designated MA’s and care teams that can include panel coordinators, social workers, RN case managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacy techs and pharmacists. Unmatched Epic/EHR support is provided through our unique Super Thrive Program. The role benefits from dedicated, clinic-based nurse care management, social worker and behavioral health support, and dedicated pharmacy support, including pharmacy tech and onsite pharmacist to assist with medication management, INR support and diabetic education. A dedicated panel coordinator assists with patient outreach and care gap closure, ensuring high-quality care for each patient on your panel. Physicians work in collaboration with a team of providers and there are opportunities in rural health clinics to qualify for a special location stipend. Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Graduate of a four-year medical school or equivalent and completed internal or family medicine residency.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in internal or family medicine.
  • Current Oregon state medical license and DEA certificate.
  • Unrestricted Oregon medical license.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • As a physician, you are responsible for the patient throughout treatment.
  • Reviewing clinical history, providing the physical examination, diagnosing and treating both chronic and episodic disorders.
  • Work in collaboration with the team.
  • Maintain own panel of patients and share call coverage for the clinic.

  • $274k to $305k annually with two-year salary guarantee (1.00 FTE)
