Primary Care Physician – Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
About The Position
The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking a full-time specialist in Family Medicine at their Falls Church Medical Center. In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, MAPMG provides high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. Physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model with access to advanced technological tools and comprehensive practice support. MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Members have easy access to specialists and medical records, allowing physicians to treat the whole patient. This position is listed as 0.8FTE, equivalent to 32 hours per week. Staff will work between 7 and 10 clinical sessions per week, with approximately 4 to 4.5 working hours per clinical session. Physicians will provide primary care for a panel of approximately 2000 patients per 10 clinical sessions, adjusted for age, gender, and medical acuity. Responsibilities include documenting visit notes and post-visit summaries in EPIC EMR, and treating patients in clinic and via video/phone.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
