About The Position

Bayview Physicians Group, one of Virginia’s largest independent, multi-specialty medical groups in Hampton Roads, Virginia, is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Family or Internal Medicine Physicians to join their dynamic primary care team. Opportunities are available in multiple locations across Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Suffolk, offering flexibility in practice setting. J1 Sponsorship is available for Suffolk locations.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician.
• Capable of providing adult and geriatric care (and pediatrics, if capable).
• Capable of sending internal referrals to other specialists within the group.

• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) platform.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
• Perform comprehensive health assessments and physician examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across a diverse patient population.
• Develop individualized care plans focused on preventive care and disease management.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Prescribe medications and treatments consistent with current clinical guidelines.
• Provide age-appropriate care, including adult and geriatric care (and pediatrics, if capable).
• Participate in transitions of care, including hospital follow-up and post-discharge management.
• Send internal referrals to other specialists within the group.
• Work and collaborate with other Physicians and APPs within the practice.
