Primary Care Physician (MD/DO)
About The Position
OnePlus Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly skilled Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) who is Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to provide exceptional, patient-centered care to our growing community. Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted Florida medical license
- Current DEA registration with Schedule II-V authority
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in adult, family medicine, primary care, or geriatric practice
- Current BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for Medicare Advantage populations
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality measures and Risk Adjustment (HCC) documentation
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
- Perform complete patient evaluations, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Promote health education, wellness, and preventive care to improve long-term patient outcomes.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists, hospitals, ancillary providers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Review laboratory and diagnostic results and communicate findings with patients in a timely manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical meetings, and value-based care programs, including HEDIS, Medicare Advantage, and Risk Adjustment initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong patient relationships through compassionate communication and continuity of care.
