About The Position

The Division of General Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a primary teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, seeks highly-motivated, board-eligible/certified internal medicine or family medicine physicians to join our hospital-based, academic, adult primary care practice, Healthcare Associates (HCA). This is a flagship hospital-based, Harvard-affiliated, academic primary care practice and the academic hub of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). The practice offers team-based care with integrated on-site support from mental health providers, as well as specialized sub-clinics. There is an abiding commitment to providing space for physician growth in core mission-driven areas of clinical care, teaching, research, and quality improvement. The role involves a strong commitment to serving the diverse patient population of Greater Boston and hands-on teaching of Harvard Medical Students and Residents. The practice has an impressive track record of high-quality, innovative patient care, is NCQA certified level III patient-centered medical home, and utilizes advanced population-health tools. All physicians are members of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP), a large physician-led professional organization dedicated to supporting exceptional care, professional development, and work-life balance. A Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment is commensurate with academic qualifications. Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is a 743-bed hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center, and a founding member of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), a system with 14 hospitals.

Requirements

  • Board-eligible/certified internal medicine or family medicine physician.
  • Highly-motivated.
