The organization is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to join a well-established, collegial medical team in Southbury, CT. Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians are encouraged to apply. New graduates and recent residents are welcome!

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine specialty.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.

  • Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and recent residents are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients across a broad range of medical needs.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
  • Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments based on evidence-based clinical guidelines.
  • Provide preventive care, health screenings, wellness counseling, and patient education.
  • Establish strong, long-term relationships with patients through continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in quality improvement, population health, and other organizational initiatives.
