About The Position

We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages, with a focus on serving a Native American community in Santa Fe, NM. This is an ongoing, long-term opportunity with a standard full-time schedule that includes rotating 8-hour and 11.5-hour shifts, as well as weekend coverage. The role involves managing a patient load of 12-16 patients per day during regular shifts and up to 20 patients during longer shifts. The physician will work primarily at Santa Fe IHC with occasional rotations to nearby clinics within a 30-minute radius. No OB responsibilities are included.

Requirements

Any valid U.S. State Medical License
BLS (Required)
Comfortable seeing patients of all ages including pediatrics
Ability to provide culturally competent care to a Native American population
Strong patient communication and relationship-building skills

Nice To Haves

ACLS and PALS (Preferred – can be obtained post-hire)
Prior primary care experience preferred
Open to new graduates

Responsibilities

Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
Conduct 30-minute follow-up visits and 1-hour new patient visits
Manage a patient load of 12–16 patients per day during regular shifts and up to 20 patients during longer shifts
Deliver quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment
Work primarily at Santa Fe IHC with occasional rotation to nearby clinics within a 30-minute radius
