About The Position
CenterWell Primary Care is looking for an as-needed basis primary care physician for the Villages FL. This is a zero-hour contracted role, ideal for providers looking for flexible scheduling while contributing to high-quality outpatient care. The Physician will manage a variety of health-related concerns, focusing on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
- Active medical license in the state of jurisdiction.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Requires participation in Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
Nice To Haves
- Preference for care experience, or at least 2 years of caring for Geriatric patients with high acuities.
- Must be passionate about improving patient experiences and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care services to adult and geriatric populations onsite in the Villages FL.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical histories and records.
- Manage moderately complex to complex medical conditions.
- Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Contribute to departmental strategy and quality improvement initiatives.
