About The Position

Seeking Primary Care Physicians specializing in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for outpatient care of veterans. This role involves managing acute and chronic conditions, performing preventive care, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and documenting care in the VA electronic health record. The position requires strong patient education and care coordination skills, with an average of 12 patients per day. The role is fully onsite and comprises approximately 80% patient care and 20% administrative duties.

Requirements

• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• BLS
• ACLS
• DEA
• NPI
• Accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Relevant outpatient primary care experience
• Chronic and acute care management
• Preventive care
• EHR/CPRS documentation
• Patient education and care coordination
• Fluent English communication
• VA background check, credentialing, training, immunizations, and orientation required
