About The Position

Sentara Medical Group is hiring several full-time Primary Care Physicians for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine locations across Virginia and North Carolina, with start dates in 2027 and 2028. These positions involve providing primary care to a patient panel, with negotiable age restrictions. The role is structured for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, including 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours. Physicians will manage an average of 80-90 patients per week and participate in a large call group with infrequent, phone-only call nights that are triaged by an RN. Hospital rounds are not required.
