Board Certified/Board Primary Care Services - Primary Care Physician, Physician Assistant, and/or Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Posterity Group LLC is seeking to staff The Dayton VA Medical Center with Primary Care Providers, including Physicians, Physician Assistants, and/or Nurse Practitioners. These providers will offer consultation and instruction to referring physicians for appropriate work-ups, ensuring expeditious and clinically appropriate care. They will cover the full spectrum of Primary Care department services, adhering to state-of-the-art healthcare standards that meet or exceed recognized national standards. Providers are expected to be punctual for all scheduled clinics and to initiate appropriate social work referrals for identified homeless veterans and patients without primary care providers.
Requirements
- Current license, full and unrestricted
- Current certification in CPR by an American Health Association Vendor
- Valid BLS and or ACLS
- Minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years.

Responsibilities
- Provide consultation with and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for procedures so that the most expeditious and clinically appropriate work-up can be done.
- Cover the range of Primary Care department services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art health care treatment facility.
- Ensure the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceedingly recognized national standards.
- Be present on time for any scheduled clinic as documented by physical presence in the clinic at the scheduled start time.
- Initiate appropriate social work referrals for all identified homeless veterans and for patients who do not have primary care providers.
