About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to join a new outpatient practice in Athens, AL. The physician will provide comprehensive Primary Care to an adult and geriatric patient population while building a patient panel as the practice grows. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekends. The role is in an outpatient Primary Care / Geriatrics setting with an average patient volume of 12-16 patients per day. It is a new clinic and a solo physician office while the patient panel grows. The EMR system used is eClinicalWorks. The position offers a competitive salary plus bonus potential and a full benefits package. Fast credentialing and start date are available.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Active or eligible Alabama medical license
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Recent Primary Care experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable caring for an adult and geriatric patient population
