About The Position
Associated Ambulance is currently accepting expressions of interest for one Primary Care Paramedic to join our Edson Station in a full-time position. These roles offer a stable and predictable Coreflex shift pattern and the opportunity to make a real impact on community care. Since 1977, Associated Ambulance has proudly provided emergency medical services across Alberta. Operating in 24 communities, we are Alberta’s largest contracted ambulance provider with Alberta Health Services. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality mobile healthcare, focused on patient safety and excellence in care.
Requirements
- Valid Primary Care Paramedic practice permit that meets Alberta EMS practice requirements
- Current Alberta Class IV driver’s license
- Completion of all mandatory and required training, including Medical Communications Protocols (MCP) and Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC)
- Strong commitment to quality patient care, safety, and professionalism aligned with Associated Ambulance’s core values
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, inter professional healthcare team
- Capacity to remain calm and perform efficiently in high-pressure emergency situations
- Applicants must disclose in their expression of interest any prior commitments that may affect their availability to meet full-time expectations
