About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Primary Care Physician Assistant to join its independent multispecialty practice in Central North Carolina. The role is based in a busy outpatient practice and combines primary care, urgent care, and pain management services. The PA will provide and manage direct patient care, build relationships with patients, and support continuity of care. The practice offers modern, well-equipped facilities, extensive onsite ancillary services, and Allscripts EMR software. Call coverage is 1:28 days or better and is phone call only.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Excellent clinical skills.

• Prior experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
• Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist with continuity of care.
• Communicate with patients about testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
• Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
• Build relationships with patients and provide attentive bedside manner.
