About The Position

North Bridgton Family Practice is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our established outpatient primary care team in Bridgton. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice patient-centered medicine in a supportive community setting while enjoying the exceptional lifestyle of western Maine. This is a full-time outpatient primary care position with a Monday-Friday schedule, offering excellent work-life balance and no inpatient responsibilities. You will work in a collaborative physician and advanced practice provider environment, managing patients across the lifespan (or adult population depending on certification) with an established patient panel and strong referral base. The role includes EMR support and integrated care resources, with opportunities to grow within a nationally recognized healthcare organization.

Requirements

Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Board Certified as FNP, AGNP, or related specialty
Active or eligible Maine Board of Nursing licensure
DEA certification or eligibility
Prior primary care experience preferred
Strong communication and patient engagement skills

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services including wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive medicine
Diagnose and treat common medical conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with Maine regulations
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and specialists to coordinate care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
