Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Matthew 25 is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary care services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS. This role involves offering prevention and treatment options such as Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), and Hepatitis C care. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with staff involved in patient treatment, participate in case consultations, complete necessary documentation, and assist in coordinating treatment with other providers. Matthew 25 is a mission-driven organization dedicated to serving those at risk for, living with, or impacted by HIV or other STIs through comprehensive healthcare, education, and support.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required at minimum.
- Current and unencumbered Kentucky and/or Indiana license.
- National certification.

- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background test.
Nice To Haves
- 2 – 3 years family practice or primary care experience.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization or a strong desire to work in a service-driven environment.
- Flexibility, as services are available to a large geographic area in the state of Kentucky, which may require some travel.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
- Offer prevention and treatment options including PrEP, PEP, and Hepatitis C care.
- Effectively communicate and work in conjunction with staff involved in patient treatment.
- Participate in case consultation.
- Complete necessary documentation related to direct services provided.
- Assist in coordination of treatment with other providers as necessary.
- Foster community partnerships to combat stigma and improve overall healthcare and quality of life.
