About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Medicine. The role is based in an outpatient clinic in St. Ignace, Michigan, focusing on clinical services only. The coverage period is ongoing, starting August 3, 2026, with a shift schedule of Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts. The position is to supplement existing staff.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)
• Active Michigan license
• Active DEA
• BLS certification
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
• Local candidate

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Perform evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues.
• Conduct pelvic examinations and Pap smears as needed.
• Complete disability examinations and related documentation.
• Work collaboratively with 5 physicians and 4 other mid-level providers in the practice.
