About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. The role involves managing acute and chronic conditions with autonomy, leveraging a robust network of specialists and community resources for seamless continuity of care. The position also requires acting as a dedicated educator for patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge for preventative health and informed treatment choices. The practice setting is outpatient with 20 providers, and a daily patient volume of 18-20 patients. It is an employed position within a nonprofit health system.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Eligible for state medical license and DEA registration
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Master's degree of Nursing required.
