Primary Care Float Provider (Outpatient - Physician or APP)
About The Position
MCHC Health Centers is seeking a dedicated Float Provider (MD, DO, NP, or PA) to join our team and deliver high-quality acute care coverage across three of our health centers. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys variety, thrives in fast-paced clinical settings, and wants to focus solely on acute visits without the ongoing responsibility of a patient panel. The provider will provide short-term coverage for primary care providers who are out, treat same-day and acute care patients of all ages, work closely with care teams at each site to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care, and flex between our Ukiah, Willits, and Lakeport health centers based on clinical need.
Requirements
- Licensed MD/DO, NP, or PA in the state of California
- Comfortable working independently in a team-based model
- Strong acute care/urgent care skills
- Flexible and adaptable with excellent communication
- A valid CA MD/DO/NP/PA license
- BLS
- BE/BC
