About The Position

The Roman Catholic Priest Chaplain is an ordained priest granted faculties by the local Catholic Bishop. As an integral part of the Spiritual Care Department, he ministers to the religious, spiritual, and emotional needs of patients, families and staff of St. Jude Medical Center OR St. Joseph of Orange, placing special emphasis on the sacramental needs of Catholic patients. Requirements

• Master's Degree in Theology/Spirituality/Pastoral Ministry.
• Coursework/Training: Completed (preferred) or in the process of completing 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education.
• Within 3 years of hire: National Chaplain Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Several years of pastoral experience following ordination.
