About The Position

As a Pricing Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing frontline leadership and daily operational support to a team of Pricing Administrators. Reporting to the Pricing Manager, you will ensure pricing requests, cost changes, and implementation activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established service level expectations. You will serve as the primary day-to-day resource for the team of Pricing Admins, balancing workloads, monitoring productivity, coaching employees, and supporting quality assurance efforts. This position plays a critical role in developing team capability through onboarding, training, cross-training initiatives, and continuous performance coaching while ensuring operational excellence across all Pricing Administration functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in pricing operations, customer support, finance, administration, or related business functions.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Knowledge of distribution, wholesale, foodservice, or supply chain environments.
  • Proficiency with AS400, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Power BI, or similar business systems.
  • Ability to support pricing, customer service, procurement, or operational workflows
  • Previous experience leading projects, training employees, or providing team leadership in a fast-paced operational environment (either as a direct leader or a demonstrated peer leader)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of 5-8 Pricing Administrators, providing daily direction and guidance.
  • Assign and prioritize workloads to ensure pricing requests, cost changes, and implementations are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor productivity, service levels, backlog, and workload distribution across the team.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for pricing questions, exceptions, and process-related issues.
  • Coordinate onboarding and training activities for new team members.
  • Develop and maintain cross-training programs to ensure operational continuity and team flexibility.
  • Conduct quality audits and provide coaching to improve accuracy, compliance, and overall performance.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal controls, and documentation standards.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Sourcing, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to resolve pricing-related issues.
  • Support the execution of customer pricing updates, vendor cost changes, and pricing implementations.
  • Track and report on operational metrics, including productivity, quality, implementation timeliness, and service level attainment.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements that increase accuracy, quality, and team effectiveness.
  • Assist the Pricing Manager with workforce planning, coverage needs, and team development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
