About The Position

The pricing specialist position will be a key resource to provide pricing solutions to Kalmbach Feeds’ customers through sales and account management channels. The pricing specialist uses resources regarding pricing needs, historical data, internal margin targets, and key customer and product data to solve pricing requests. You utilize and maintain key pricing tools You are happy to perform data entry and pricing analysis You ask questions of other team members to gain knowledge and expertise to provide competitive and accurate pricing for our customers You create and maintain good communication with the Kalmbach Feeds Sales team and all internal departments You have prompt responses to pricing requests You embrace continual learning and growth You use creative thinking to answer pricing questions You identify data errors You distinguish between different pricing needs and solutions You communicate and help implement pricing changes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years pricing or accounting experience
• High attention to detail and thoroughness
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, effective multi-tasker
• Fast learner
• Strong analytical skills
• Intellectually curious
• Intermediate experience with Excel
• Ability to effectively communicate to wide range of internal and external customers
