The Pricing & Promotions Operations Associate owns the day-to-day execution and hygiene of Lifepro pricing, discounts, and promotional merchandising across Shopify. This role exists to make sure every offer is accurate, margin-aware, trackable, compliant with MAP and marketplace pricing guardrails, and executed consistently across customer touchpoints. The role will initially support international Shopify operations, beginning with the UK and Canada, while remaining closely connected to Lifepro's broader US promotional calendar, brand partnerships, email/SMS, Amazon pricing considerations, and campaign tracking. This is an execution-heavy role for someone who is exceptionally disciplined with numbers and details and can prevent costly pricing and promotional errors before they reach customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2+ years of experience in ecommerce operations, pricing, or promotions execution
- Hands-on Shopify experience, including native discounts and promotional setup
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with the ability to validate margin and discount math
- Extremely detail-oriented and naturally skeptical of pricing, discount, and margin discrepancies
- Strong with numbers, Excel, and basic margin math, and can quickly validate whether an offer works financially
- Hands-on Shopify experience, including native discounts, discount codes, product/variant pricing, and promotional setup
- Understand that DTC pricing does not operate in isolation and can work within MAP policies, Amazon pricing guardrails, brand-partner commitments, and channel-specific requirements
- Comfortable working from a promotional calendar and translating campaign strategy into accurate operational execution
- Process-driven and organized enough to manage multiple overlapping offers without losing track of start dates, end dates, exclusions, codes, URLs, or channel attribution
- Communicate quickly when something does not reconcile rather than making assumptions
Responsibilities
- Own discount hygiene across Lifepro Shopify environments, ensuring active discounts are intentional, current, correctly configured, and retired when promotions end
- Build, QA, schedule, activate, and deactivate Shopify native discounts and promotional codes in accordance with the approved marketing calendar
- Execute UTM- or channel-specific discount structures for email, paid media, direct mail, QR codes, partnerships, affiliates, and other trackable campaigns
- Maintain clear records of promotional codes, eligibility rules, exclusions, dates, channels, and offer ownership so the team has a reliable source of truth
- Audit product and promotional pricing for MAP compliance and relevant Amazon pricing guardrails before launch, escalating conflicts before offers go live
- Perform margin and discount analysis to validate promotional economics, including total customer savings, effective discount rate, and margin impact
- QA pricing and merchandising execution across PDPs, collection pages, promotional landing pages, cart/checkout, email links, QR destinations, and other customer touchpoints
- Monitor live promotions for conflicts, stacking issues, expired codes, unintended eligibility, pricing inconsistencies, or other conversion and margin risks
- Coordinate with Marketing, Brand, Growth, Retention, Amazon, Operations, and international stakeholders so promotional execution reflects approved strategy and channel requirements
- Support promotional merchandising in Shopify, including price presentation, badges, offer messaging, product eligibility, and related campaign setup
- Maintain campaign awareness across launches, seasonal promotions, partnerships, and evergreen offers so discount execution does not happen in a silo
- Support UK and Canada Shopify operations as the initial international focus, applying Lifepro's pricing and promotional standards while accounting for market-specific catalogs, currencies, and offers
- Build repeatable QA checklists and operating procedures that reduce manual errors and improve promotional turnaround time
- Audit active discounts and pricing rules on a monthly basis, summarizing recurring issues and recommending process improvements
