About The Position

Carrier Enterprise, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking a dynamic Branch Sales Manager . Join a team that excels in providing top-notch HVAC/R products, parts, and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors. The Pricing Operations Manager – Parts & Supplies is responsible for executing pricing recommendations received from the Field Pricing Support and Pricing Analytics Teams. This role ensures accurate, timely, and seamless implementation of price changes and updates across all relevant systems. The primary focus is on price implementation, quote and deal support, pricing data management, and providing training and operational support to internal teams responsible for HVAC parts and supplies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with pricing tools and systems, such as PriceFx (or similar)
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details; Project Management a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in pricing or related field, preferred experience in HVAC or distribution
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, but any combination of experience will be considered
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience managing in a B2B environment in distribution or wholesale sales preferred but not required
  • Excellent relationship-building skills; must be a team builder as well as a team player with a focus on sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability for HVAC parts and supplies, considering market trends, competitor pricing, and cost fluctuations.
  • Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and pricing performance to evaluate strategy effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and inform purchasing and pricing decisions.
  • Execute price changes and updates across systems, ensuring alignment with approved strategies
  • Process dealer and customer quotes, including setup, approval workflows, and tracking
  • Maintain and update pricing databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems
  • Manage PriceFx datasets, troubleshoot CSD issues, and optimize workflows for efficiency
  • Provide training and ongoing support to internal teams on pricing systems, tools, and processes
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve pricing operations workflows
