About The Position

DAS Companies, Inc. is seeking a Pricing & Insights Analyst to function as the organization’s central data expert, responsible for transforming internal and external data into clear, actionable insights that support pricing strategy, margin improvement, and category performance. This role evaluates pricing structures, analyzes customer and product trends, builds reporting tools, and supports cross-functional teams with data that drives informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI a plus
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships
• Self-motivated with a positive, professional approach
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field preferred)
• 2+ years of experience preferred; will consider strong candidates with less experience and relevant coursework
• Relevant coursework or experience working with large datasets, business analytics, or pricing functions preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing for new and existing products to ensure alignment with margin expectations
• Recommend and support pricing adjustments
• Conduct market and competitive research to validate pricing decisions
• Analyze customer, category, POS, and sales data to identify trends and opportunities
• Lead planogram and category performance analysis
• Support Sales, Purchasing, and internal teams with data-driven insights
• Manage and maintain data pulls, dashboard builds, report creation, and distribution of information
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support leadership and business initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting and analytical processes
