About The Position

A. Duie Pyle, a family-owned business since 1924, offers integrated transportation and distribution solutions across the Northeast. The Pricing Analyst will collaborate with Sales, Yield Management, Terminal Managers, and Senior Management, acting as the primary point of contact for pricing requests. This role involves providing analytical support to prepare pricing proposals for internal review and approval, submitting them to customers and Sales, and communicating with relevant sales, pricing, and operations teams.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent
• Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with specific deadlines
• Ability to interface effectively with customers and internal departments
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous LTL Pricing experience, transportation, logistics, customer service, sales, and or rates experience is encouraged, not required

Responsibilities

• Receiving and analyzing all pricing requests (Bids, New Business Request and Modifications) submitted
• Collecting and analyze appropriate support data to submit pricing requests to the pricing committee as required
• Submitting proposals to customers and sales within required time frame
• Maintaining accurate reporting of all pricing activities including maintaining and updating SalesForce
• Coordinating with sales field to prepare pricing analysis for management review
• Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices
