Pricing Analyst

About The Position

Develop compliant pricing volumes and cost proposals in response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quote (RFQs), Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), and other customer solicitations. Build and maintain pricing models using Microsoft Excel and company estimating tools. Prepare labor, material, subcontract, travel, and other direct cost estimates in accordance with solicitation requirements. Coordinate with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Business Development to develop accurate and competitive proposals. Obtain, evaluate, and incorporate subcontractor quotations into proposal pricing. Support cost strategy development to ensure competitive, compliant, and executable proposals. Perform cost analysis, price analysis, and profitability assessments to support management decision-making. Review solicitations for pricing requirements, assumptions, evaluation criteria, and contractual compliance. Assist in developing Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation and supporting proposal narratives. Verify proposal calculations and ensure pricing accuracy prior to submission. Maintain pricing files, historical cost databases, labor rate information, and estimating templates. Assist in preparing responses to customer pricing clarification requests and proposal negotiations. Support internal proposal reviews, pricing reviews, and management approval boards. Continuously improve pricing processes, estimating tools, and standard templates. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary pricing information and customer-sensitive data. Collaborate effectively across functional teams while managing multiple proposal efforts with competing deadlines. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline required
  • 3+ years of experience directly related to pricing, estimating, proposal, contracts, finance, or government contracting experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required

  • US Government/DoW pricing experience preferred but not required
