About The Position

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks Pricing Analyst at its facility located at 5757 N Green Bay Ave, Glendale, WI 53209. JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop pricing, research various dimensions of ratemaking, and compare cost factors (2.5%). Work independently, but within a collaborative team environment (5%). Interact with other teams such as Engineering, Sales and Customer Service (2.5%). Perform quantitative pricing analyses to optimize overall profitability and to drive continuous improvement activities (8.75%). Create a multiple-category pricing strategy for JCI customers (2.5%). Target specific named competitors and identify strategic market alignment which can be variable by category (2.5%). Exhibit strong critical thinking, problem solving, and technical knowledge to challenge business assumptions and develop new methods, models, and analyses that inform JCI’s policies, pricing, and customer programs (8.75%). Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset and customer-centric approach to synthesize large data sets and translate analyses into insights (8.75%). Establish scalable, efficient, user-centric, and automated processes for largescale data analyses to support business processes and decision-making (8.75%). Analyze and review current and future state pricing models (8.75%). Examine competitor pricing and suggest pricing structures and models (2.5%). Track pricing and price changes based on commodity and material input changes (2.5%). Apply statistical modelling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on current and future state pricing (5%). Collaborate with sales and marketing departments to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies (5%). Develop dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends (8.75%). Develop research and analysis on various dimensions of ratemaking and pricing strategy, which will be used to create a series of connected narratives and principles to engage a broad set of internal and external audiences (8.75%). Support cross-functional teams across the company to resolve complex issues that typically require verbal, written, and visual communication with proposed recommendations presented to leadership in a simple, logical, and succinct manner (8.75%). Requirements

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience as a Pricing Rotational Analyst, Pricing Technician, Pricing Engineer, or related occupation with financial analysis as part of the role.
  • Conducting quantitative analysis to identify market trends
  • Developing analytical models to determine financial impacts on sales or margins
  • Utilizing analytical tools such as SAS, R, Python, SQL, Excel, or Tableau to improve reporting accuracy and efficacy
  • Summarizing project findings for stakeholders
  • Financial planning and scenario reviews
  • Gathering information and present findings to stakeholders
