About The Position

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the setup and maintenance of both purchase and sales pricing structures. This role involves understanding and applying pricing methodologies, maintaining accurate pricing records, and collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and data integrity.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in pricing or e-commerce (supply chain, inventory control, data analytics, category management).
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Communications, or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand the purchase pricing methodology to apply special pricing to purchase orders accurately.
  • Assist in maintaining pricing structures, including Libraries and Books, and implement special pricing by Supplier.
  • Understand sales pricing methodology for each customer segment and update pricing structures as needed.
  • Create and maintain price pages necessary for accurate pricing calculation by customer or customer group.
  • Process new item setup requests in accordance with business and compliance processes.
  • Maintain item restrictions to ensure appropriate product access by customer segment.
  • Maintain taxes and environmental handling charges, working with various departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support Vendor and Supplier records maintenance and linkage to item records.
  • Assist with reporting tools, dashboards, and data validation within the ERP system to maintain pricing data integrity.
  • Conduct audits on pricing, tax, fee, product, vendor, and system data.
  • Assist with the renewal and maintenance of applicable licenses and support audits for regulated product groups.
  • Collaborate with other departments on pricing-related requests and compliance approvals.
  • Identify and improve internal department processes to adapt to new business requirements.
  • Promote transparency and due diligence in decision-making processes and communications.
