About The Position

The Pricing Analyst quotes DSV US Air and Sea shipments in accordance with the established pricing framework. The role works closely with regional, sub-regional, and branch teams, including Sales and Operations, to support business growth and customer retention. The position is based in South San Francisco, with the posting also identifying San Francisco, Salt Lake City, or Torrance as possible locations.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in a pricing or analytical role in the transportation and logistics industry.
At least 6 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with large amounts of data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
Experience with pricing in the transportation and logistics industry.
Experience in transportation and logistics operations.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate, timely quotes within the defined pricing system in response to Operations or Sales customer requests.
Work with Sales and Operations teams to understand customer needs and develop suitable pricing proposals.
Analyze pricing data and trends to identify pricing strategies that need attention or optimization.
Monitor individual pricing performance and identify opportunities to improve business wins.
Collaborate with other departments to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
Support maintenance of pricing databases.
