About The Position
The Pricing Analyst plays a key role in developing and supporting LTL pricing strategies at XGS. This role requires prior LTL experience and focuses on evaluating bid opportunities, supporting volume and spot pricing requests, and analyzing pricing performance to ensure alignment with company revenue and strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Prior LTL experience
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to readily adapt to change
Responsibilities
- Analyze and respond to LTL Requests for Proposals (RFPs), developing pricing strategies and models for new and existing customers that support profitability and long-term growth.
- Provide timely LTL spot quotes to internal and external customers; communicate effectively with sales teams and customers via phone and email.
- Build queries and extract data to support pricing analysis, account reviews, and strategic decision-making.
- Review customer accounts to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and identify opportunities to improve margins.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams and external customers.
- Support additional pricing-related initiatives and projects as assigned.
