About The Position

Hard Rock Digital is seeking an experienced sports betting professional to help develop its sportsbook platform and propel it to the forefront of the industry. The role primarily focuses on identifying flaws and possible improvements in pricing to increase competitiveness and profitability, and implementing suggested enhancements. The company is building a deeply curious team passionate about learning, operating, and building new products and technologies for millions of consumers, with a customer-obsessed approach rooted in the Hard Rock and Seminole Tribe of Florida heritage.

Requirements

Mix of sports betting knowledge and technical acumen.
Coding capability in at least one of SQL, Python, or Java is extremely desirable.
Knowledge of the US sports betting market.
Analytical, mathematically minded, and detail-oriented.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated technical proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of developments in the sports betting world.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in more than one of SQL, Python, or Java.

Responsibilities

Identify potential pricing inconsistencies in singles and SGP offering across a range of sports using industry knowledge.
Proactively use sporting knowledge to spot where rule changes will impact models to highlight and fix problems before they arise.
Use data analysis skills to compare historical outcomes to current outputs and identify potential negative business impacts.
Suggest ways to enhance pricing models via new algorithms, improved coding methods, or by investigating external feed providers.
Appraise and test pricing changes to ensure only improvements are released to production.
Ensure all processes are documented to a high standard for both technical and non-technical consumption.
Innovate and work on blue skies research to help the team differentiate in a competitive marketplace.
