About The Position

The National Account Pricing Analyst is responsible for evaluating, developing, and maintaining pricing strategies for national accounts. This role requires strong analytical skills to assess cost structures, market conditions, and customer requirements, ensuring pricing decisions support company profitability while remaining competitive. The position works closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver accurate pricing proposals and maintain compliance with internal policies. paced work environment.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and accountability

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing requests and proposals for national accounts, ensuring alignment with profitability and strategic objectives.
• Prepare and present pricing models, reports, and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with Sales teams to develop tailored pricing strategies that meet customer and company needs.
• Monitor performance of existing pricing agreements, identifying opportunities for margin improvement.
• Support quarterly and/or annual reviews of national account pricing strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, pricing agreements, and approvals in compliance with company policies.
• Assist in the development of tools and processes to improve pricing accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with our Engineering Dept. using their tools and reports to develop lane pricing to be competitive and profitable for the company.
