About The Position

Pricing strategy and data analytics are becoming critical drivers of success across industries. At Finning, we are transforming how we approach pricing by using data, insights, and modern tools to understand market demand, optimize pricing decisions, and deliver value for our customers. We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Pricing Analyst to support pricing analysis and strategy development, helping shape how the business approaches pricing across regions, products, and customers.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
High attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Experience with SQL, Excel, or similar tools
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
3–6 years of experience in analytics, pricing, or a related role

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI is an asset
Foundational understanding of pricing, finance, or analytics
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors is an asset

Responsibilities

Support pricing strategy initiatives across regions and product lines
Identify opportunities to improve pricing performance
Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies
Analyze pricing data, discount structures, and margin performance
Provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders
Use visualization tools to communicate insights
Monitor market trends and competitor pricing
Analyze lost sales and customer feedback
Recommend targeted pricing adjustments
Support pricing and marketing program analysis
Measure effectiveness and identify improvements
Provide reporting and insights to sales and product teams
Collaborate cross-functionally
Translate data into actionable insights
