About The Position

As a Pricer, you help keep Goodwill stores running smoothly by sorting, pricing, and preparing donated items for sale. Your attention to detail helps ensure donations are handled responsibly and support Goodwill’s mission of changing lives through the power of work. Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving 11 counties on Florida’s east and west coasts through its Goodwill Manasota and Goodwill Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast organizations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness and ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, carry, or otherwise move up to 40 pounds without support; request assistance from an additional team member for loads over 40 pounds as needed.
• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects as required by the job.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion; manual dexterity is required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of clothing, antiques, and collectibles is preferred.
• Prior retail environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations into saleable, salvage, and trash categories.
• Price merchandise accurately using baseline price guides.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products on the sales floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet daily production goals to help keep the “Goodwill River” flowing.
• Provide excellent donor and customer service.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies.
