About The Position

The Pricer prices assigned departmental merchandise to maximize value and maintains merchandise on the sales floor. The role helps ensure adequate seasonal merchandise by sorting out-of-season items. It reports directly to the assistant store manager or store manager. The position is full-time, non-exempt, and based at JCRS in Lakewood, Colorado. The listed pay range is $16.00–$16.50 per hour, and the shift is day shift.

Responsibilities

Review department sales targets weekly with the store manager and supervisor.
Maintain the target price per item and use the price grid as a guideline.
Sort, hang, and price donations for assigned departments.
Display merchandise in designated sales-floor areas.
Supply assigned departments daily with a sufficient quantity of merchandise according to performance standards.
Keep the production department clean and materials stocked.
Adjust merchandise prices up or down to achieve maximum value when items are not selling or are selling too quickly.
Keep the sales floor shoppable by ragging, balancing, and rotating seasonal merchandise.
Recognize seasonal merchandise, place it in storage boxes, and label the boxes properly.
Assist with customer service.
Perform other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments that may be outside the primary area of employment.
