About The Position

As a Pricer at RWB Thrift, you set prices for merchandise destined for the sales floor. You assess donated items based on their condition, quality, and market trends, then apply appropriate pricing strategies to maximize sales while maintaining competitive prices. You collaborate with team members, particularly Pricer Support personnel, to maintain consistent pricing standards and an efficient workflow. Your attention to detail, knowledge of product categories, and understanding of customer preferences contribute to the store’s revenue goals and customer satisfaction. The role takes place in a consistently busy, fast-paced retail environment. The sales floor and production area are noisy, and the front and back of the store are brightly lit. You interact regularly with customers, donors, and coworkers, and may be asked to switch tasks or departments and work in assigned areas based on operational needs. Depending on interactions with customers, donors, colleagues, and supervisors, a fundamental understanding of written and spoken English and the ability to communicate in English may be necessary.
