About The Position

The Price Support Associate maintains point-of-sale records for products sold in Houchens-owned grocery and convenience stores, including Crossroads, IGA, Houchens, JR Foods, PriceLess, Save-A-Lot, Shell, ACE, Hanks, and tobacco shops. This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits. The schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. The position reports to the IT Systems Administrator.

The role enters product changes into the point-of-sale system and works with buyers, vendors, and stores to update and maintain product records. It also involves finding and correcting record problems or inconsistencies, printing weekly price change tags, and running and distributing reports as needed. Other tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Basic typing skills; 30+ words per minute is preferred.
• Strong organizational ability.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to respond to phone calls, faxes, and emails in a timely manner.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Experience working in a retail environment.
• Typing speed of 30 or more words per minute.
