About The Position

Requirements

1-5 years of experience in plastic injection molding and or hydraulics in a manufacturing setting as a maintenance technician preferred.
Related fields include: Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Building Maintenance, and Industrial Maintenance.
Preferred maintenance background to include hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, machining, welding, electrical and print reading with service history. Emphasis on hydraulics or plastic processes.
Knowledgeable with the use of computers (MS Office Suite), CMMS Software, 5S and CMMS or maintenance software methods preferred.
High School Diploma Required.
Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field preferred.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Ability to work and perform in a high speed and diverse setting.

Responsibilities

Capable of troubleshooting and repairing various machinery, equipment, and facility structures to support the operations of the facility and the production process.
Encounter motor and drive electrical ranges from 115V-480V supporting all auxiliary plant equipment. This includes but is not limited: air compressors, cooling towers, water system pumps and controls, water and oil separators, building exhaust fans and hydraulic components that support molding machines.
Perform daily preventive maintenance at all facilities to ensure proper function. Assist the production department with maintaining injection molding autonomous maintenance items.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment according to prescribed schedules and procedures. Various equipment such as motors, pumps, hydraulics, and cylinders. Use CMMS software to collect and document all PM activity for the department.
Aid shift maintenance when needed on nozzles and hydraulic with external manifolds.
Able to assist the department in developing improvement projects in support of a more predictive and preventative maintenance team.
Capable of performing welding, small fabrication, and designs to correct root cause failures when needed or assigned to support all preventive maintenance aspects within the department.
Able to work in a team setting, self-motivated, productive without direct supervision.
