The Preventive Maintenance Technician performs equipment repair, troubleshooting, and scheduled preventive maintenance using detailed written procedures across the manufacturing facility. This role requires technical capability, attention to detail, and sound judgment to maintain complex equipment while ensuring full regulatory compliance and documentation. Performs equipment repair, troubleshooting, and scheduled preventive maintenance from detailed written procedures on equipment throughout manufacturing. Requires technical ability, attention to detail, and judgment in maintaining and troubleshooting multiple types of equipment. Maintains clear and concise records to comply with internal and external regulations. Performs data entry and documentation of work performed; moderate computer skills are required. Solves problems of moderate scope and complexity requiring basic interpretation of well-defined procedures and practices. Demonstrates the ability to manage time and follow instructions effectively, and plans, organizes, and prioritizes daily work routines to complete scheduled tasks on time. Demonstrates the ability to understand and comply with all safety requirements, procedures, and regulations. Possesses experience with hand tools and calibrated measuring devices, as well as knowledge of basic safety practices when working on energized equipment and handling hazardous chemicals. Demonstrates the ability to work modified hours outside the regular schedule if needed to meet production demand. Demonstrates time management skills and the ability to work with minimal instruction, collaborate with a team, maintain good interpersonal skills, and maintain a reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance record. Proficient with CMMS Maximo database for work order tracking.
