The Preventive Maintenance (PM) Service Technician is responsible for conducting all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations, and wearing proper personal protective equipment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance tasks such as changing engine fluids, filters, lubricating and cleaning components/parts, and testing equipment performance. The technician will also maintain and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and supporting systems in the field. Additionally, they will supply all required information, supporting documentation, and photos to the Preventive Maintenance Dispatcher and Service Estimator for identified repairs and additional services. The technician is expected to maintain company service literature, stay aware of technical changes in the industry, maintain required tools, and attend training sessions. They will work in a neat and orderly fashion, adhering to contamination control guidelines, and continuously seek ways to improve work methods, the work area, and safety standards. Flexibility in schedule to work nights and weekends is required, along with completing all required documentation for customers and the PM Dispatcher. The role also includes performing other duties as assigned.
