About The Position

The Prevention Program Manager provides leadership and oversight for the program, ensuring high-quality services are delivered. This role supervises and coaches staff to provide supportive services, parenting education, advocacy, and resource connection to promote child well-being and prevent children from entering formal foster care whenever safely possible. This isn't just a position—it's an opportunity to help families succeed, keep children safe, and create stronger futures for generations to come.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field.
Two (2+) years of experience working in non-profit social service agencies.
Experience working with marginalized communities with an understanding of the barriers that impact underserved communities.
Ability to quickly establish rapport and build trust.
Ability to collaborate and advocate for positive outcomes, using interpersonal skills in multi-disciplinary, diverse and dynamic professional teams.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to write clearly and effectively.
Proven track record in setting priorities and proposing new ways of creating efficiencies.
Adaptable and proactive self-starter who effectively multitasks while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization to consistently meet objectives and deadlines.
Core understanding of program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence through leadership, team management, and strong interpersonal skills.
Adapt communication and work style to effectively engage diverse cultures, individuals, and organizations.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree preferred.
2+ years of management experience preferred.
