About The Position

By supporting staff, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring high-quality services, you'll play a vital role in changing the trajectory of countless children and youth by keeping families together. The Prevention Services Program Manager provides leadership and oversight for the program, ensuring high-quality services are delivered. This role supervises and coaches staff to provide supportive services, parenting education, advocacy, and resource connection to promote child well-being and prevent children from entering formal foster care whenever safely possible. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field.
  • Two (2+) years of experience working in non-profit social service agencies.
  • Management experience.
  • Collaborate effectively within diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adjust communication and work style to effectively engage diverse cultures, clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and effectively.
  • Proven track record in setting priorities and proposing new ways of creating efficiencies.
  • Travel required within Kansas, Missouri and/or nationally with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of management experience preferred.
