Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces as required. This includes tasks such as flipping/inspecting mattresses and box springs, assembling bed frames, vacuuming, spot cleaning carpets and upholstery, dusting, touch-up painting and furniture repair, ensuring all hardware and appliances are present and working, replacing light fixtures, and inspecting/repairing grout and caulking. Maintain and repair all guest rooms in accordance with property procedures and standard guidelines. Perform miscellaneous minor repairs like tightening toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching walls. Conduct general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces including tubs, walls, floors, windows, and mirrors. Report any serious maintenance issues, unusual findings, or safety hazards to the manager/supervisor immediately. Follow all company safety and security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training. Adhere to all company policies, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards, anticipate and address guest needs, and develop positive working relationships. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. This role requires reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. It involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and assisting with objects weighing over 50 pounds. The position requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or entire work shifts. Other reasonable job duties may be requested.
