About The Position

The Preventative Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues, performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to maintain good working relationships and follow safety regulations. The technician will also assist in developing maintenance schedules and documenting all maintenance activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a construction environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate and convey information effectively
Knowledge of machines and tools, including uses, repair, and maintenance
Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

Technical degree or certification preferred
Ability to obtain Arsenal and FBI Badge

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacements
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend solutions
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs
Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in maintenance technologies
Assist in the development of preventative maintenance schedules and protocols
Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents and other coworkers at all times
Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner
Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work task
Perform other duties as assigned
