About The Position

This position is for a Preventative Maintenance Technician at JW Nutritional LLC's Corporate Office in Allen, TX. The role involves performing scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical systems and equipment, as well as conducting necessary repairs on both equipment and facility infrastructure. The technician will also be responsible for coordinating with external vendors and contractors for outsourced repairs at both Allen and Plano locations. Key duties include maintaining detailed preventive maintenance logs, managing inventory of parts and materials, and performing welding tasks. The role also includes cross-training other personnel on equipment inspection and troubleshooting. The work schedule is a graveyard shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 P.M. to 2:00 A.M., with potential for overtime.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Completion of trade school of the following trades: Tableting press preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Automatic or semi- automatic encapsulation machines preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Auger filler machine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Ribbon Blenders, V-Blender preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
HVAC Pneumatic controls

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance services on all mechanical systems equipment and components
Repair equipment, as needed.
Perform facility repair, as needed.
Meet with Vendor/contractors at Allen & Plano locations for outsourced repairs
Maintain preventive maintenance logs on all equipment and systems
Pick up parts from Vendors/contractors
Welding
Replace worn components before mechanical breakdown occur
Maintain and take periodic inventory parts, materials, and components
Cross-train other personnel (custodial and maintenance) in visual and sound inspection of equipment to gain a timely reporting response to system trouble.
Perform other duties as requested.
