The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all slot related equipment including slot machines and components, on floor slot monitoring systems, on floor ticket printer accounting systems, slot signage and progressive controllers, and other equipment as assigned. This role involves performing scheduled and 'as needed' preventive maintenance, replacing or repairing minor machine components, and ensuring the accurate completion of the Preventive Maintenance Log. The technician must safeguard company assets, promote teamwork, and adhere to all laws, gaming regulations, policies, and procedures. They are also expected to attend meetings and trainings, maintain knowledge of company services, and uphold hygiene and safety standards to ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment. The position requires good interpersonal and guest service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and to resolve problems expediently. A self-starter attitude with adaptability to change is essential. Computer literacy, including MS Word and Excel, is a plus. The role demands the ability to read and interpret technical documents, write reports, and communicate effectively. Mathematical skills including basic arithmetic, rate, ratio, and percent calculations, as well as the ability to draw and interpret bar graphs, are necessary. The technician must also apply common sense understanding to instructions and be able to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
