About The Position

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will promote and complete on-site preventative maintenance and repair services on mobility-related medical equipment in healthcare facilities throughout an assigned geographic territory. You will support customers by ensuring mobility products and solutions are in the best possible condition, thereby empowering movement for people facing mobility challenges and increasing the quality of life for residents, patients, and caregivers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hands-on technical role with diagnostic or repair skills
  • Excellent customer relations skills: ability to deal with internal and external customers, including Healthcare professionals using tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to recommend/promote/sell products and services based on observed client needs
  • Full Driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • General computer skills and comfortable using a mobile device

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working out of a service vehicle is an asset
  • Knowledge of local geography / roadways is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Providing preventative maintenance and load testing services at healthcare facilities.
  • Providing services to customers in accordance with Arjo Canada published warranties.
  • Assisting sales personnel in marketing all Arjo Canada Inc.
  • Preparing and submit required/requested reports, paperwork and/or feedback.
  • Maintaining expenses and required inventory within guidelines and limits.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
